BLANCO – Over 11 grams of methamphetamine found during a traffic stop in Blanco resulted in one arrest on Saturday, according to the Blanco Police Department.
BPD reported that the traffic stop occurred in the evening hours of June 1 in the 2800 block of US 281 South.
During the traffic stop, Blanco night shift Officers discovered that the driver of the vehicle did not have a driver’s license and the two passengers inside the vehicle appeared to be intoxicated on an unknown substance.
As officers conducted a probable cause search, approximately 11.9 grams of methamphetamine was found inside the purse of the front seat passenger of the vehicle, stated the Blanco PD.
BPD concluded to say that the suspect was charged with 2nd-Degree Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.
