Stabbing in HEB parking lot overnight

SAN ANTONIO – Early Friday morning, just before 2:30 a.m., a man was stabbed while waiting for his son in the HEB parking lot.

The incident took place at the location in the 2100 block of Culebra Road and 26th Street, the victim was parked in his truck waiting to pick up his son after his shift ended at the location to take him home.

Apparently, the victim was approached by two suspects, they allegedly stabbed his tires and attempted to rob him, stated police. Officials also stated the alleged suspects stabbed the victim two to three times when he attempted to fight back.

The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment and is in critical condition. Police are currently looking for the two accused suspects and any information anyone might have about the incident.

The situation is still currently under investigation and there is no other information at this time.
