Man arrested in alleged property theft over $2,500

EL PASO – Wednesday, May 8th, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office arrested a suspect on the charges of stealing an ATV.



Ronnie Rojas, age 42, is allegedly charged with theft of property more of $2,500 and less of $30,000.

The four-wheeler was taken from Horizon City on January 23rd, according to the sheriff’s office. The investigation led deputies to believe that a pick-up truck may have been used during the theft of the ATV.



On May 8th a search warrant was executed at Rojas’ residence, and apparently, the ATV was discovered on the property. Currently, Rojas is being held at the El Paso County Detention Facility on a $5,000 bond.

According to officials, Rojas was also allegedly arrested in March for suspicion of stealing a van.



Rachelle is a certified pharmacy technician, is a current third-year honor student with Grand Canyon University, doubling in Elementary and Speical Education and is a loving mother of one. Rachelle also enjoys reading, writing, music, and is an avid outdoors sportsperson, appreciating fishing, hunting, and archery.
