LAKE HILLS, Texas – The Bandera County Fire Marshals Office is searching for the person responsible for dumping a large amount of oil at Blue Bill Cove in Lake Hills Sunday afternoon.
The oil leaked down onto Blue Bill Cove Drive and had to be cleaned up by the Lake Hills Volunteer Fire Department to prevent auto accidents.
BCFM says the dump most likely occurred between 1 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
They are asking that any person with cameras in the area look through footage and if they see anything suspicious, contact the Bandera County Marshal’s Office at 830-688-1093.
