7-year-old Johnson City boy found dead at Lake Corpus Christi after frantic search

UPDATE: 7-year-old Beau Henderson was found deceased at Lake Corpus Christi in Mathis Sunday.



KZTV Corpus reports that his body was found in Catfish Cove and that authorities confirmed that it was a drowning.

The park is currently closed to visitors.

MATHIS, Texas – Several law enforcement agencies have teamed up to search for a 7-year-old boy named Beau Henderson that has been missing near Lake Corpus Christi since today.

According to the Johnson City Police Department, Beau is a first-grade student at LBJ Elementary in Johnson City.

Beau is 4 feet tall and is missing from camp #62 and #70 at Lake Corpus Christi.

Sheriff Rivera and San Patricio Sheriff’s Office have set up a command post in the area.

They are asking that if anyone sees Beau to call 911 immediately.

Jim Wells County Constable’s Office Pct. 5 thanked everyone for offering to assist at around 4:30 today and is asking people to not overcrowd the area.

According to the constable’s office, plenty of boots are on the ground along with K-9’s and other resources will arrive there shortly.

    ARE THESE PEOPLE THAT ARE KILLING CHILDREN CRAZY???? IF SO PUT THEM AWAY AND SOMEONE NOTICED THEY HAD A PROBLEM BEFORE THIS, I’M SURE!!!!!!
