Border Patrol arrest undocumented immigrant and man with warrant out of Bexar County at checkpoint

LAREDO – A man with connections to Bexar County, and a Mexican citizen in the country illegally were arrested at the I-35 checkpoint following a check into their backgrounds.



A press release stated that the two individuals were driving a black 2012 Volkswagen Jetta and upon pulling up to the checkpoint, a secondary inspection was ordered by Border Patrol agents.

The driver was found to have an active warrant for a parole violation out of Bexar County.



The passenger, according to the U.S. Border Patrol, was a Mexican national who was in the United States illegally.

Webb County Sheriff’s Office took over the driver’s case. The passenger was possessed accordingly, said authorities.
