MEXIA, Texas – The Mexia Police Department made an arrest for possession of cocaine and dangerous drugs in the form of ecstasy Saturday, March 9.

The ecstacy pills appeared to be children themed, shaped and designed to look like blue versions of PAC-MAN and Transformers.

According to KidsHealth.org, “Ecstasy is a stimulant drug that can cause hallucinations.”

”It is known as a designer drug because it was created for the purpose of making someone feel high.”

”The drug is popular with teens and young adults who go to clubs, concerts, or “rave” parties,” says the website.

The website also says that, “Ecstasy use can cause seizures, brain swelling, possible brain damage, and even death.”

The subject arrested was initially contacted on suspicion that he violated a protective order at the Olse Oaks Apartments in Mexia, according to a press release from Mexia PD.
