Kerrville woman charged with DWI/child under 15, state jail felony

KERRVILLE – A Kerrville woman has been charged with DWI with Child Under 15 Years Of Age after the Kerrville Police Department says she was driving intoxicated with two children in the vehicle.



Marisa Ramos Espinoza, 44, of Kerrville, was initially pulled over speeding in a white Buick at the 600 block of Junction Hwy in Kerrville Friday morning, according to KPD Public Relations Officer Juan Trevizo.

“There were three other occupants in the vehicle, an adult and two children under the age of 15.”



“Marisa displayed signs of intoxication and she was unable to properly perform the field sobriety test,” said Officer Trevizo.

Marisa was arrested and charged and is currently in the Kerr County Jail.

Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Under 15 Years Of Age in Texas is a State Jail Felony, punishable of 180 days to 2 years in jail, and a $10,000 fine.
