Authorities arrest man after discovering over 24 kilograms of meth in vehicle

BEXAR COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

SAN ANTONIO – Over 20 grams kilograms of methamphetamine was seized by Bexar County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and DPS Troopers on Tuesday while authorities were working on 410 and IH 35 in Bexar County.



At approximately 11:00 a.m., the law enforcement officers arrested Cristobal Perez-Hernandez, 58, after discovering 24.5 kilograms of methamphetamine concealed within trap compartments of the vehicle, according to Bexar County officials.

BCSO stated that the methamphetamine had a street value of about $250,000.00.



Perez-Hernandez was transported to the GEO detention center and was charged with Conspiracy With Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine.
