Teenager charged with hotel homicide in New Braunfels, $100,000 Bond




NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – A 17-year-old juvenile has been arrested for charges in first-degree felony murder.

The investigation took place at the Rodeway Inn hotel in New Braunfels off I-35 N and TX-46.

According to investigators, a male victim was discovered slain overnight at the Rodeway Inn.

On Thursday, March 7th, 2019, at 11:45 am, police served Bryan David Ramirez-Fernandez with a warrant for his arrest at his place of residence.

He was placed into custody without conflict or confrontation and delivered to the Comal County Jail, his bail was placed at $100,000.

Reports from the police state that around 2:30 am on Monday, March 4th, 2019 calls were placed for the New Braunfels Police and Fire Departments for a report of a gunshot victim.

Upon Arrival, police discovered 18-year-old Maximiliano Miranda, shot and killed in a hotel room.

The NBPD’s Criminal Investigation Unit has an open investigation and is interviewing witnesses.

Investigators presume that both the victim and suspect knew each other and there are no other suspects involved.
