UPDATE: Victim from Kerrville’s Miller Street fire in intensive care in San Antonio, fire still under investigation

UPDATE: (03-06-19) – The Kerrville Fire Department has provided an update as to what took place Sunday on the 300 block of Miller Street in Kerrville.



According to the Kerrville Fire Department, the initial call came in at 3:08 PM Sunday for a possible structure fire with heavy smoke and possible occupants.

When the Kerrville Fire Department arrived, one occupant of the house was standing outside who had self-rescued. One other occupant was missing inside the house.

“Engine 1 initiated search and rescue efforts. One victim was located inside and treated on scene and transported to Peterson Regional Medical Center by Medic 1,” said KFD.



The victim was still in critical condition and is in Brooks Army Medical Center in San Antonio as of yesterday.

The fire is still under investigation.

 



ORIGINAL: 03-03-19)  – The Kerrville Fire Department has been called out to a fully engulfed structure fire on the 300 block of Miller Street.

One occupant of the residence possibly sustained injuries.
