Danny was born in the small mountain town of Pineville, KY just 3 days before Christmas.

At the early age of  5 years old, he knew he was born to be a singer.

Going back and forth between Pineville and his 2nd home of Bay Minette, AL, he continued his love and passion for music.

At 15 years old, he was stealing the show with his band up and down the AL and FL coast line playing 5 nights a week and continued going to school.

In 1997 he married and had a son, Garth.

Wanting to be there as a father for his son, he turned down a record deal from Nashville and got a regular day job.

One Sunday at a Marty Raybon concert, he found salvation and a new love and passion for music.

After being in ministry, traveling all over the country for almost 13 years, Danny was ready for that leap of faith move to Texas.

God showed him the stage he needs to be on.

Danny has 5 Christian albums out with songs that topped the genre’s charts.

Danny is excited to release his 6th album, but this time it’s Texas Country.

Danny Ray is gearing up for touring and being on the road again with his wife and son, Brady.

Danny’s first single – Hello Beer – set the stage for what his shows will be like.

Hello Beer broke into the top 115 with no promotion, which is amazing.

Livin The Life Of A Haggard Song, Danny’s second release, just went to radio 3 weeks ago and has broken into the Texas Country music chart in the top 100 already and debuted at 26 in the UK and is still climbing!

Livin’ The Life Of A Haggard Song pulls you in from the very first steel guitar riff and chord progression.

Danny Ray Harris steps up to the microphone and tells his story flawlessly and sings the song so smooth and effortlessly.

The song is just that, “smooth”. I like the simplicity of the delivery from Danny Ray.

The lyrics have a deep meaning, but Danny keeps it simple.

The music is spot on too. The song melody is country to the core and still has air to breathe allowing the steel guitar and fiddle to shine.

Background vocals; they knocked out of the park.

This song is a good song. Livin’ The Life Of A Haggard Song by Danny Ray Harris is a song that can not, and should not be denied.

It’s a damn good song. Well produced and sounds good on the radio. Add this single to your playlist, you’ll be glad you did.
