CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (TexasBreaking.com) – It was announced that Holden Clark was released from prison on November 30 after he was sentenced to 35 years in prison for the murder of his mother, Pamela Clark, in June 2016.
Holden Clark pleaded guilty to the first-degree murder charge and at age 16, he was transferred to state prison.
His mother’s body was found decomposed inside a kitchen trash can in their home in the 1800 block of Paul Jones Avenue.
The Corpus Christi Caller-Times previously reported that Clark talked about the murder with his friends while they smoked marijuana and watched movies.
After Clark killed his mother, prosecutors said that he texted friends asking for their help to move the body.
Pamela Clark was a nurse and was involved with non-profit organizations until her death. A scholarship fund was also set up in her name for Del Mar College nursing students.
Online records show that Clark, now 19 years old, lives in Kerrville where he will be on parole until January 30, 2050.
