The incident reportedly resulted in an argument between the victim and the passenger of the damaged car, which later escalated into a shooting incident.

According to the Houston Police Department (HPD), they dispatched their officers to the scene after they received calls of the shooting incident, around 11 a.m. When they arrived, they found the victim who sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, who wasn’t immediately identified, was later sent to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries and died.

Police also said that the victim’s girlfriend who was also in the car during the incident was unharmed. They also said that she may have recorded the fatal shooting incident on video, using her phone.

The HPD later released photos of a female person of interest and the Mercedes Benz in question. “She was driving a white Mercedes C Class at 11:15 a.m. [Tuesday] at 12800 Northborough when a passenger (suspect) fatally shot a man,” police said in a Twitter post.

The HPD later released the photos of a female person of interest. The unnamed female is believed to be the driver of the damaged car who was with the suspect at the time of the shooting. They said the suspect is believed to be a Black male in a gray hoodie.
