Man In Southwest Houston Shot To Death While Standing In His Home’s Garage, Police Said

Police are investigating a shooting at a residence in southwest Houston where a man was shot multiple times while he was standing in his home garage early Sunday morning.

Officer E. Pavel of the Houston Police Department said at around 2:40 a.m, police were dispatched in the 12300 block of Hillcroft Avenue after receiving reports of a shooting, Click 2 Houston reported.

When police arrived at the scene, Pavel said that they found the victim shot multiple times in the stomach area.  Officials also said that the man was in his early 30’s and was shot four to six times. He was declared dead at the scene.

The fatal shooting is still under investigation by the Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division. The investigation is in its early stage.
