Friend of David Nathaniel Barron Is Shocked By His Death

Friends of David Nathaniel Barron, 40, who was killed in a shooting at the Paddock Mall on Saturday, were stunned and taken aback by his death. According to the Ocala Police Department, an unidentified woman received non-life-threatening injuries to her leg in the 3:40 P.M. shooting.

Friend of David Nathaniel Barron Is Shocked By His Death:

“I couldn’t believe it.” In an email Sunday, Michael Kelley, 40, a close friend of Barron’s since fifth grade in Ocala, remarked, “I just kept praying that there was some mistake.” Kelley described the shooting as “crazy.” Although Kelley does not know Barron to be a drug user, he believes Barron was lured into the drug trade by the money made by others. “He wanted to be stronger; (Barron) knew he wasted many years,” she said. Kelley believes Barron has been undertaking a “self-evaluation” to get his life back on track since 2020, and he describes Barron as dedicated and hardworking to creating his tattoo shop.

“David was trying to get his life in order and start his tattoo business.” “He was a fantastic father,” Kelley remarked over the phone. Barron’s children, according to Kelley, range in age from 2 years to late teens. “David would gladly give you the shirt off his back,” Kelley remarked. Kelley is currently living in Alabama, but she communicated with Barron daily via phone and Facebook and chatted with him earlier that day.

An Ocalo Women Statement:

“An Ocala woman who met Barron in high school as part of a group of friends who occasionally visited a local skating rink also shared some words.” The woman requested that her name not be released while the shooter is still on the loose. She was unaware of the arrests involving Barron. “(Barron) was a fantastic tattoo artist. “He did my third tattoo, and it was amazing. I know he was an amazing father who loves his children,” she texted me. “I know that everybody goes through something, and the only way to overcome it is to keep pushing,” she said.

“I understand that everybody goes through something, and the only way to overcome it is to keep pushing,” she said. The mother added that on the day of the incident, she was on her way to the mall with her son when her daughter texted her about the shooting, and she quickly learned that Barron was the victim. “David was extremely sincere (and) was always willing to help.” “I am praying for him, his children, and his family during this difficult time,” she added.
