Cadaver Dogs Point Locations of Missing 6-Year-Old

Police say cadaver dogs alerted them to two different places at the former home of a missing 6-year-old boy Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez. He was last seen in October. It was previously reported that the truck was found in connection to his kidnapping, but he was still missing.

During the search, investigators were drawn to two places at the family’s home corner: a carpet that the missing 6-year-old boy’s stepfather disposed of before he left the country, and a pile of topsoil underneath a concrete patio in their backyard.

According to a published article in Audacy, the Cadaver dogs alerted the investigators to that carpet. The Everman police said they discovered the missing 6-year-old boy’s stepfather disposed of a carpet. The family had been using the carpet as flooring on top of a “make-shift” shed.

According to investigations, the carpet was later replaced by a concrete patio. Investigators also conducted a larger search that included a nearby wooded area.

Missing 6-Year-Old Possible Human Remains Found

Under the direction of Everman police, the crew demolished the concrete patio that replaced the carpet disposed of by the missing 6-year-old boy’s stepfather.

The cadaver dogs pointed investigators to the topsoil underneath the concrete patio. Authorities believe that there were possible human remains in the area as what the cadaver dogs are showing.

The missing 6-year-old has not been seen since October. His mother, stepfather, and six siblings left the country as soon as the police started asking and investigating about Rodriguez-Alvarez.

Shortly before the family left the country, investigators found out that the missing 6-year-old boy’s mother paid someone to have the patio concreted. According to police, search crews would take Tuesday off after a 20-hour workday on Monday.

The community of Everman held a vigil in memory of missing 6-year-old Rodriguez-Alvarez on Monday night with hundreds in attendance.
