Individuals who were sent a notification in June 2021 indicating that their data may have been breached are qualified to receive compensation from the Audi settlement.

Who is eligible to claim the Audi Settlement?

To qualify for the Audi settlement, individuals must have been a past, present, or potential customer of Volkswagen or Audi, and have received a letter in June 2021 that stated their private information may have been disclosed in the security breach.

California SPI subclass customers can claim up to $350, while Nationwide PI exposure subclass customers can claim $20 and Nationwide SPI exposure subclass customers can claim $80.

Those who are eligible for the Audi settlement can also seek reimbursement for expenses related to fraud, identity theft, credit expenses, communication charges, and up to four hours of unpaid time off work at a rate of $50 per hour, with a maximum amount of $5,000.
