Davis reportedly told a witness about the incident and fled the scene. He later turned himself into the Fort Worth police, along with a gun. The motive behind the shooting is still unclear.
Bush and Davis divorced in 2017, as per the Collin County court documents. Davis has been transferred to Denton County prison, and his bail has been established at $100,000. It is unknown whether he has an attorney.
