Dallas Police Investigating Homicide of Man Found in Creek
Dallas police are investigating the death of a man found in a creek in northwest Dallas earlier this week as a homicide. The man has been identified as 39-year-old Rolando Mosqueda, originally from Carrollton, according to the Dallas County medical examiner’s office.
The Dallas Morning News reported that officers were alerted about the body at around 2:40 p.m. on Wednesday when they were called to the 2500 block of Walnut Hill Lane near Interstate 35E. When they arrived at the scene, they found Mosqueda’s body in the creek. The cause of death has not been released.
The investigation into Mosqueda’s death is ongoing, and Dallas police have released no further details at this time. The area where the body was found has been cordoned off while the investigation continues.
