Search for Missing Texas Teen Carlos Lugo Ends in Tragedy, Body Found with Multiple Shots

The disappearance and death of 14-year-old Carlos Lugo have left the Houston community in shock and mourning.

Unfortunately, the search for Carlos ended in tragedy, as his body was found shot multiple times in a field on February 5. The cause of death was confirmed through an autopsy, but the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear.

The Houston Police Department has launched an investigation into the case, but at this time, there is no known suspect or motive. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and speak with the Homicide Division or Crime Stoppers, where they can report anonymously.

According to Eye Witness News, the mother of Carlos is still hoping that her son is still alive before his body was found.  The loss of a young life is always a tragedy, and Carlos’ death has undoubtedly left his family and friends in a state of grief and confusion. The community is rallying around them, offering support and condolences in their time of need.

The Houston Police Department has assured the public that they are doing everything in their power to find the person responsible and bring them to justice.
