APPRECIATION CASH: $5,000 One-Time Bonus Checks Going Out To Americans Now

Hundreds of Americans have received $5,000 in a one-time bonus check as part of the Florida Law Enforcement Recruiter Bonus Program, the Sunshine State announced last Monday. Over 600 bonuses were distributed to newly hired law enforcement recruits.

Most of the checks have already been distributed, but there are still some bonuses to be paid out before the end of the week. The after-tax value of each payment is $5,000. To be eligible for review, you must have full-time employment or be appointed as a “Certified Law Enforcement Officer” with a state criminal justice agency on or after July 1.

According to a published post by The US Sun, you must also not have been previously employed as a law enforcement officer in Florida. Additionally, they must remain with the agency for at least two years in “continuous full-time employment.” In order to maintain “continuous” employment, each office may not take more than 15 calendar days off.

Bonus Checks is part of Florida’s “first of its kind” program aimed at helping Florida law enforcement agencies. “Law enforcement chose Florida because it delivered on its promise to help the men and women who protect families in Florida, and the message was clear across the country,” said Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Florida Department of Economic Opportunity Director Dane Eagle also congratulated the hiring, saying the program attracts “the best and brightest law enforcement officers to serve the state.” “Through the Law Enforcement Recruitment Bonus Pay Program, law enforcement officers transition into this incredibly rewarding profession in a state that values heroic service to the Florida community.”

After Hurricane Ian in October, the Governor of Cape He personally delivered the first recruit bonus checks to his six new officers in Coral City. Before the hurricane, he moved most of his six officers to Florida, two from New York, one from Maryland, and one from Georgia.

The other two were new to the job, according to the governor’s office. “We are proud to welcome law enforcement officers from across the country to Florida and thank the people of Florida for choosing this important calling,” DeSantis said.
