The fund is designed to provide citizens of the state with a share of the state’s oil revenues. The sovereign wealth fund pays annual dividends to qualified citizens. To qualify, you must have resided in Alaska for at least one year, but you are not eligible if you have been convicted or imprisoned for a state crime.
