Nebraska Couple Arrested for Allegedly Committing Quadruple Homicide

Nebraska State Patrol investigated a homicide case in the city of Laurel that took place on 4th August. Four dead bodies were recovered from two apartments in the same locality. Police found a couple to be the chief suspect in the brutal crime and they were arrested accordingly. Jason Jones and Carrie Jones allegedly carried out the quadruple homicide in a locality in Laurel.

Jason was primarily arrested for all four murders nevertheless, the investigation has revealed that Carrie killed at least one of the victims in the Elm Street area.

On August 4th, Nebraska State Patrol recovered four bodies who were victims of an apparent homicide in the Elm Street locality of Laurel city. The victims were identified as 86-year-old Gene Twiford, 85-year-old Janet Twiford, 55-year-old Dana Twiford, and 53-year-old Michele Ebeling. Gene and Janet were a couple and Dana was their daughter. Their bodies were found in the 500 block of Elm Street.

As per the reports, the body of Michele Ebeling was found in the 200 block of the same area. Both apartments were set on fire after the homicides. Police suspected Jason Jones of the homicide and arrested him on the following day of the incident. He was charged with the accusation of all the murders and setting up the apartments on fire.  Jones has been sentenced to the maximum penalty of death or life in prison.

Wife also suspected in Nebraska multiple homicide case

Jason Jones’ wife Carrie has also been suspected of the homicide incident. The investigation has disclosed that she purposely murdered one of the victims, Gene Twiford. Along with that, she also faces the charges of hiding the evidence and her husband Jason.

However, Carrie wasn’t involved in setting the residences on fire. It was solely committed by Jason. Both husband and wife are to be presented in the courtroom on 23rd January.
