A 10-year-old boy from Wisconsin reportedly shot his mother for refusing to buy him a Virtual Reality Headset.
Wisconsin Boy Shoots Mother Over Petty Argument
In a bizarre incident, a 10-year-old resident of Wisconsin fatally shot his mother as he was angry over her disagreement to buy him a Virtual Reality Headset.
The 44-year-old mother, Quiana Mann, was shot right in front of her house in Milwaukee. On November 2021, the mother-son duo had a heated argument. Post which, out of rage, the son shot her mother in the eye, which eventually claimed her life.
The cops have refused to reveal the name of the juvenile accused due to privacy and age-related concerns. As per reliable sources, the son tried hiding the gun after committing this brutal crime.
After that, he told his older sister, who dialed 911 and informed the cops. It was further revealed that he logged into his late mother’s Amazon account a day after the incident to order the expensive headset he wanted.
During the initial investigation, he told the cops that whatever happened was accidental, and that he never wanted to aim the gun at his mother.
Wisconsin Boy’s Behavior Issues
The cops, in the beginning, believed what he said and thought he had accidentally shot his mother. But it was when his aunt told them that post the incident, the 10-year-old confessed to her that he had been aiming the gun at his mother for a long time.
After this revelation, he was immediately taken into custody. Some other relatives also revealed that he always had behavior and rage issues.
He has also been accused of talking to five imaginary people in his head. Due to these behavior issues, he was even taken to a therapist by his mother.
After concerning diagnosis from the therapist, his mother placed multiple cameras inside their house to track her son’s activities.
