Guilty of Killing 15-Year-Old from Bronx
The Bronx District Attorney’s office announced on Wednesday that five members of the Trinitarios gang responsible for the gruesome death of Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz in the Bronx had pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the case.
According to the Daily News, in the Bronx Supreme Court, defendants Ronald Urena, Luis Cabrera Santos, Gabriel Ramirez Concepcion, and Danilo Payamps Pacheco entered guilty pleas to the charge against them.
In 2018, the city was outraged by the brutality of the murder of Junior, who was dragged onto the street and slashed to death.
In a statement, Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark said that the defendants’ actions culminated in the vicious attack on Lesandro “Junior” Guzman and that they, along with seven other defendants, have been held accountable for the killing of the 15-year-old boy who shocked the Bronx and beyond.
They mistook Junior for a rival gang member and pursued him for four blocks before he ran into the convenience store.
Once inside, they restrained him and pulled him out onto the street, where five additional guys slaughtered Junior with knives and a machete.
The five individuals who entered their guilty pleas on Wednesday face possible prison terms of up to 15 years each, according to the authorities.
As per the report, the five individuals who obeyed their superiors’ orders and viciously stabbed Junior were found guilty of murder in October 2019 and are currently serving sentences ranging from 25 years to life.
