Tonight you should expect partly cloudy skies in the Lubbock area. There will be showers and thunderstorms north of Lubbock, and the temperatures will be low as it will be around 66 degrees.
The showers and thunderstorms will also be felt in Friona and Amarillo areas. Some may even experience heavy rains.
By tomorrow morning, there will still be partly cloudy skies but it will be better as the clouds will be dissipating into sunny conditions for the rest of the day. The highest temperature is expected to be at 90 degrees. It will be clear and warm in the afternoon, and the temperatures will be low at around 70 degrees.
The temperatures will slowly climb into the high 90s until Sunday and are expected to stay that way until next week. Sunny skies are expected for the rest of this week and the weekend. Cloudier conditions, however, are expected early to mid of next week.
