Who is Chan?
Jung Chan-woo (born January 26, 1998) is a Korean singer, actor, and member of the YG Entertainment boy group iKon. He goes by the stage name Chanwoo. He played Lee Minho’s younger counterparts in Boys Over Flowers and The Heirs. Chanwoo, also known as Chan, is a South Korean musician and actor. He is a member of the boy band iKON. Jung played a younger version of Gu Jun-Pyo in Boys Over Flowers. Chan, the group’s maknae, was born on January 26, 1998. He contributed to Kids Planet Entertainment and Fantagio Entertainment.
Chan’s Early Life:
Jung Chan-woo was born on January 26, 1998, in Songpa-gu, Seoul, and raised in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. In 2006, he played the younger Max Changmin in TVXQ’s “Balloons” music video. In 2008, he made his debut in Lost and Found, followed by a series, beginning with The Great King Sejong. Appeared as the younger version of Lee’s Min-characters in Boys Over Flowers and The Heirs. The apprentices from WIN: Is Next’s Team B was to be having to return in late 2014 in another Mnet reality survival show, Mix & Match. Jung also got to add to the contest.
Chan’s Career:
The show saw all Team B crew members as a seven-member lineup iKon. On September 15, 2015, the group made its official debut with the, which was before single digital “My Type.” Jung launched his YouTube channel, Chan’s Life, in July 2018. In September 2021, it was declared that Jung would continue his acting career as the lead in My Chilling Roommate, a rom-com film/drama. His co-star would be Kim So-Jeong of the former girl group GFriend. In April 2019, it was reported that Chan-woo donated $10 million to the Hope Bridge Association of National Disaster Relief for the Gangwon wildfire victims in South Korea.
About IKON Band:
iKon is a South Korean boy group founded by YG Entertainment in 2015. It has six members: Jay, Song, Bobby, DK, June, and Chan. B. I, the original leader of the seven-piece band, left the group in June 2019. “Team B” in the reality survival show Who is Next, and the group went on to the reality survival show, which determined iKon’s final member array. Welcome Back, their debut studio album, debuted at the top of the South Korean Gaon Album Chart and featured “My Type” and “Dumb & Dumber.” The album was a commercial success in Asia, selling over 260,000 copies and earning from major Asian music award shows.
Chan’s Horror Movie:

The title of their forthcoming South Korean Cinerama is ‘Chilling Co-Habitation.’ It’s undeniably one of the most talked-about stories on social media. The fall of the Chilling Co-Habitation is to be made public. As a result, it is unknown when it will be released. However, the film will be released in the first half of the following year, in 2022.
Throughout 2021, the group competed against many other popular boy groups on the reality show Kingdom: Legendary War. In recent events, iKON came back with their EP Flashback in February 2022. iKON’s contract is to expire this year. As a result, fans are very concerned about the group’s future.
