Audrey declared in Wednesday’s penultimate episode of American Horror Story: Roanoke, “Everybody’s dead!” — which was demonstrably false because Lee was standing right next to her, very much alive, thank you. Nonetheless, the outburst convinced newcomer Dylan (who’d played Ambrose in My Roanoke Nightmare) that the events at the Millers’ former home were “not a joke.” Even if the reenactress’ hadn’t done the trick, what happened next would have undoubtedly conveyed to Dylan that the type of s he was in was deep. About the AHS Season 6 Episode 9:
In American Horror Story Season 6 Episode 9, we met a new cast of characters who became entangled in the bizarre events at Roanoke. As “Chapter 9” began, a group of daredevil young hikers (including Taissa Farmiga as Sophie and Jacob Artist as Todd) hoping to post photos of the haunted house on Instagram during the blood moon came across Diana’s ghost, then her remains. Following that, the kids attempted to tell the police what they had seen, but the authorities were skeptical because nobody was found at the scene of Diana’s accident. On the plus side, the threesome’s eerie upload netted them a slew of new supporters.
How does the Plot Begin?
Once Audrey had finished informing Dylan that there was no need for him to show up to stir because it had runneth over — with blood — the soldier was making plans to get everyone out of there. But first, they had to track down Monet. Dylan was much “screw ‘no man left behind,’ let’s just take a truck!” when he arrived at the Polks’. On the other hand, Lee was dead set on obtaining her confession to Mason’s murder. So, while looking for the evidence, Audrey tracked down Monet and dispatched Old Man Polk. Outside, Dylan appeared to have been murdered by Lot, who then drove away in a rush to avoid the blood moon.
How does the Plot End?
“We must do something,” Sophie and Milo agreed as they watched Lee enter the house. “We have to put a stop to her.” Monet and Audrey were walking back into the woods when they heard a noise and realized Lee had returned. “You don’t belong here,” she declared, clutching a cleaver and sounding eerily similar to The Butcher. When she called out to him, Lee pushed Monet over the stairwell railing to her death. Lee eventually hacked Audrey as well and locked her in the storm cellar. Sophie had arrived at the house by then to witness the real Butcher disembowel Dylan.

The ex-counselors will do everything they can to prevent history repeats itself. Whereas Sophie tells her friends about the significance and influence of “My Roanoke Nightmare,” the dialogue is a parody of what has been said about American Horror Story by fans and the press.
Following the release of set photos from Santa Clarita, it was widely assumed that the season would include the infamous 1580s Roanoke Colony disappearance. The first half of the season was revealed in the premiere episode as a paranormal documentary titled My Roanoke, which reenacts the experiences of a couple who relocate to Carolina. The half of the season is presented as footage and depicts the documentary’s sequel’s doomed production. Roanoke has received primarily positive points, praising the show’s more subdued aesthetic and pacing than in previous seasons. This emphasizes the season’s self-referential nature even more.
