Yuji Consumes Sukuna’s Finger
Jujutsu Kaisen is a story of a young and lively boy named Yuji Itadori who encountered Megumi Fushiguro (a Jujutsu Sorcerer) one day. Yuji did this in search of a powerful Cursed Object known as Ryomen Sukuna’s finger. Yuji’s friend accidentally find the Cursed object and the curses starts attracting to their location.
At that time Yuji and Megumi team up to laid off the Curses but still find out themselves to be in a dire situation. In that moment, Yuji consumed Sukuna’s finger and become the host of Sukuna. After saving his friends, Yuji faces a trial by the Jujutsu higher-ups but manages to avoid execution and becomes a student of Satoru, the strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer. Yuji then meets other sorcerers like Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki.
Yuji Itadori’s Fake Death
Later on Yuji and Nobara are sent on a mission to exorcise Curses in an abandoned building. They tried Gojo’s test by working together to save a child from a Curse. The trio of Yuji, Megumi and Nobara get on their first mission together but a special grade Cursed Spirit encountered them which results into death of Yuji Itadori. Megumi and Nobara become stronger after Yuji’s death and the challenges they face, and Satoru Gojo starts preparing for the upcoming battles.
On the other hand, Yuji, who is still alive and hiding, undergoes secret training to control his emotions and channel his Cursed Energy. Later we get to see Gojo face off against Jogo, a powerful Cursed Spirit, and we learn what terrifying techniques hide behind his beautiful face. During the battle, Gojo acts as Yuji’s mentor and defeats one of the strongest Curses without breaking a sweat. Gojo confronts the Kyoto school principal and expresses his desire to change the established order and raise the Jujutsu Sorcerers stronger than ever.
Incident At Kinema Cinema
In the midst of the horrifying events at Kinema Cinema, Junpei Yoshino, a student from Satozakura High School, becomes an eyewitness to the gruesome death of his classmates at the hands of Mahito. But surprisingly, instead of fearing him, Junpei creates an attachment with the Cursed Spirit. Meanwhile, Yuji Itadori, having completed his training with Gojo, is assigned to assist Kento Nanami in investigating the murders at Kinema Cinema.
Yuji and Nanami then engage in a battle against the Curses, where both Sorcerers prove their skills by overpowering them. Nanami captures the evidence of the scene, which is further investigated by Doctor Shoko, who unveils that they are not Curses but ex-humans transfigured by Cursed Energy.
