SASSA Pension 2024

Pension payments to South African seniors were administered and disbursed by the Social Security Agency of South Africa. These are the assistance payments that are provided monthly to all eligible individuals for the SASSA pension. These benefits are social grants that the Department of Social Development provides, and they come with higher benefit payments and corruption. The SASSA pension for 2024 will be paid out on January 3, 2024.

These awards are given to those who are under the age of state pension eligibility, are unemployed, or have a fixed income. Pension benefits are paid out beginning at age 60 and last until death. Delivery rates vary for pension grants. R2,090 in pension payments will be paid to the person under the age of 60 to 75 each month. R2,110 is given to individuals over 75; these payments cover the individual’s monthly living expenses due to rising inflation. The grant benefits are computed by adding the rising cost of inflation to the consumer price index.
