The Saturday Night Live star was scheduled to perform at New York City’s Beacon Theatre on Friday but canceled the performance mere hours before showtime for no reason. Following this, the 30-year-old comedian canceled all of his future concerts until January of the following year. Although Pete did not specify a reason for canceling the gigs, several venues posted comments on their websites stating that “unforeseen circumstances” caused the shows to be canceled. All ticketholders who had purchased tickets to watch the comedian were given two hours’ notice that the concert had been canceled and were automatically reimbursed their money.
Why did Comedian Pete Davidson cancel 3 Texas shows?
Pete’s admirers were eager to express their displeasure with the situation, taking to X, formerly Twitter, to share their opinions. Although Pete has yet to clarify why he canceled the gigs, he has previously been candid about his mental health difficulties and has backed out of previous commitments to care for his mental health. The former King of Staten Island star entered a mental health facility earlier this year to obtain therapy for his previously diagnosed borderline personality disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder.
There is a shortage information on the cancellations of multiple-location shows, with some venues blaming “unforeseen circumstances.” The cancellations at both Texas locations were not explained. According to ACL Live, it takes all ticket buyers, but it may take up to 30 days for the reimbursement to be processed back to the original payment method.
