WALLER COUNTY, Texas – A 21-year-old man has reportedly confessed to killing and decapitating his wife in the house they lived in on his parents’ property.
Waller County Sheriff Troy Guidry said at a press briefing that deputies received a call at approximately 4:18 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11, about a dead woman inside a residence on the 200 block of Oak Hollow Boulevard. Detectives went to the home and found the victim lifeless. Guidry believes she was killed at around 11 in the morning. The family that lived on the said property was detained and the suspect was taken into police custody.KRIV-TV reported that the suspect has been identified as Jared Dicus.Jared James Dicus was allegedly seen at the same convenience store where the victim worked. Dicus’ father called officers after Dicus went into their house and spoke to them. He supposedly believed “something wasn’t feeling right,” so he went to the smaller home behind their residence and found Anggy Diaz’s body. Dicus allegedly confessed to killing his wife, but the investigation remains ongoing. Investigators reported that the weapon used in the killing is a kitchen knife. A motive has yet to be determined.According to KHOU-TV, Anggy Diaz is the victim and was from Nicaragua.
