The investigation of Burns began last year on August 2022 when the victim, identified in court documents as “S.S.”, filed a complaint claiming that she “had been raped three times by her friend’s father, Andrew Burns.” The victim told the police that she was at the home of her friend – Burns’s daughter – for a sleepover when she first received a text message from someone claiming to be a psychic.

According to the affidavit, the victim stated that the text message was sent was from Burns, who was pretending to be a psychic. The victim also alleged that Burns had raped her multiple times at his home.

Burns also allegedly took a photo of the victim’s naked crotch and said she later received a message saying that a psychic had erased Burns’ memory of all three incidents.

Authorities then spoke to Burns at the end of August 2022 and he denied all of the allegations. His phone was confiscated and investigators allegedly found multiple naked images of the victim.

The victim confirmed to the police that she remembered taking the photos and sending them to Burns.

These are extremely serious charges and if convicted, Burns could face severe consequences, including a significant prison sentence. The legal process is ongoing and it will be up to the courts to determine his guilt or innocence.

It’s important to note that these are just allegations and Burns is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. However, these charges should be taken seriously and the proper legal channels should be followed to ensure that justice is served. Burns was brought to the Delaware County Jail and released after posting a $100,000 bond.
