Patrick Xavier Clark, 33, was arrested on Thursday in connection with the murder of Migos rapper Takeoff outside a Houston bowling alley. His arrest came just one day after another man was arrested in connection with the shooting incident.
Gunfire from Clarke Killed Takeoff
On Thursday, Clark was arrested peacefully by Houston Police; he is charged with murder for fatally shooting Takeoff and wounding two other people outside a bowling Alley in Houston on Nov. 1.
The 22-year-old, Cameron Joshua, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with illegally possessing a firearm because he had a gun when Takeoff was shot. Police Sgt. Michael Burrow said that the investigation points out that Clarke’s gunfire killed the rapper, who was only an innocent bystander when a dispute on a dice game led to the shooting, a source posted.
According to the Harris County Medical Examiner, rapper Takeoff was shot multiple times in the head and torso, resulting in his death. Takeoff’s uncle, fellow Migos rapper Quavo, was in a verbal altercation in a video, but the rapper was not involved directly, New York Post report said.
Dispute to Shooting Incident
During the shooting, 911 received a call reporting five gunshots fired, gunshots heard, and people screaming in the background. Another video shows Quavo on the phone, presumably with a 911 operator, and he appears to panic after seeing Takeoff unconscious. A woman can be seen in the video saying that she is a nurse and trying to revive the rapper.
According to law enforcement sources and multiple witnesses, the fatal incident occurred shortly after 2:30 a.m., according to a TMZ report.
Takeoff posted a photo of himself lighting up at the bowling alley just a few hours before the shooting, but no one knew it was his last moment alive. The rapper died when he was only 28 years old.
