In an Apocalypto parody, the Simpson family and some other Springfield residents are depicted as turkeys, while others are shown as pilgrims. After Marge lays an egg, she goes hunting for Thanksgiving dinner, and Homer is one of the captive turkeys; Bart escapes but follows them to their settlement. Several turkeys are killed in blood, but panic sets in when the turkey version of the grandfather keeps running around with his head down.

In confusion, Bart rescues Homer and reunites with their family, but they are chased by Agent Wiggum until a bear kills him. The egg then hatches to reveal a Turkish version of Maggie. Seeing some pilgrims eating turkey, Homer notes that times will be dark for them as Thanksgiving becomes a new human tradition.

The Last Thanksgiving/The First Blarg-sgiving

The First Blarg-sgiving

To mock The Blob, Alien, and Life, years after the destruction of Earth, children are awakened from hibernation on a spaceship to work before landing on their new planet. Bart and Milhouse try to make Thanksgiving dinner, but they only find a can of cranberry sauce, which Bart tries to duplicate and accidentally brings to life. The creature, made of gelatin, eats bones and soon kills all the children except Bart, Lisa, Milhouse and Martin, the latter betraying the others before allowing himself to be killed. Milhouse decides to befriend the monster but is instead pushed aside by it, leading Bart and Lisa to trick it into freeing Milhouse and throwing themselves into a large box. The two release the can come into space, but it resists and damages the ship, causing it to crash into a nearby planet.

Homer, Marge, Maggie, and Santa’s little helper join Bart and Lisa, but not Snowball II., who died after his cryopod failed long ago; only the creature has arrived on their new planet. Fortunately, humans are aided by some native aliens, who turn the monster into food and end up with an alien version of the first Thanksgiving. Lisa then says that the beast has fortunately found its true purpose: to be fed to others since the title has been renamed “The First Blarg-giving”.
