The film The Righteous Gemstones is about a family of televangelists and megachurch pastors led by widowed patriarch Eli Gemstone. How does Righteous Gemstones Season 2 Plot Begin?
A young Eli Gemstone worked as a professional wrestler in 1968. Glendon Marsh, Eli’s boss, and his son, Junior, arrange to pay Eli extra to assault a man who owes Glen money. Jesse and Gideon have returned to the United States, with Jesse and Amber reunited and Gideon working as a cameraman for the church. Judy and BJ married, and Kelvin founded a Christian bodybuilders club. Jesse and Amber are approached by Lyle and Lindy Lessons, to cooperate on a Christian resort named Zion’s Landing in the middle of many sex scandals rocking the megachurch world. Eli declines to provide his support since it is too risky.
Righteous Gemstones Season 2 Release Date:
On September 9, 2019, the show was renewed for a second season, and production began immediately. Because of the continuing Coronavirus Pandemic, the second season of The Righteous Gemstones is projected to be delayed until 2021. Season 2 of The Righteous Gemstones began filming in September 2019, with a completion date of January to February 2020. However, we received no updates on whether or not the filming was completed. We assume it was not completed as of February 2020 because the show held an open casting call in February, implying that filming for the show was still ongoing.
The photography was conducted in August 2018 at Citadel Mall in Charleston, South Carolina.
