But, before you get too worked up, take some deep breaths! The delay for Episode 81 is only a few minutes, not hours or days. The Winter Games are to blame for the change, but Attack on Titan will premiere next Sunday nonetheless.

The update is now available on the official website of Attack on Titan. It was there that fans learned that episode 81 would be delayed by 20 minutes on NHK. This is due to coverage of the Winter Olympics, which are now taking place in China.

As a result of the scheduling adjustment, Attack on Titan will premiere its special installment on Feb 13th at 12:25 a.m. JST. It normally goes live soon after midnight in other parts of the world. There’s no news on how this postponement will affect Attack on Titan’s simulcast timetables, but fans should anticipate streaming providers to readily handle the change.

And if you haven’t seen Attack on Titan yet, we strongly advise you to do so right away. The series has released one of its greatest chapters to date, and it appears that our characters’ lives are going to alter drastically. Eren has taken on a new appearance, humanity’s barriers have crumbled, and the truth about our Titans has emerged.
