July 4 Events in and Around San Antonio For You to Witness Fireworks and Celebrate the Day

Last year, we couldn’t celebrate Independence day as there was a nationwide lockdown to curb covid 19. But this year, as covid cases are declining, there will be celebrations in and around San Antonio. There will be parades, fireworks and other entertainments across various parts of the city and here’s where you can see fireworks in and around San Antonio on this year’s July 4

 

Woodlawn lake park 

Woodlawn park hosts the official Independence day celebrations in San Antonio. The day starts with fun activities and games and then comes the afternoon concert that ends with a grand firework display. Along with carnival games and fun activities, the Woodlawn park celebration will be having food stalls serving BBQs and other local and international food items. 

 

Independence day at Alamo

 Alamo offers a unique Independence day experience owing to its historical significance. The festival starts at 9 in the morning with historical demonstrations, weaponry displays, and other shows and ends up with a firework display by 5.30 in the evening. There will be several interactive activities, especially for kids. The grant Independence day declaration that you can sign, is a big attraction of celebrations in the Alamo. 

 

 SeaWorld

 It’s summer and SeaWorld may be a great place to celebrate this year’s July 4 as their bayside fireworks are spectacular. Another great news is that admission is free at SeaWorld on July 4.

Enjoy your July 4 at the six flag fiesta with entertainments, rides, and an incredible firework in the end. Get discounted tickets to enter and have great fun with their rides like the iron rattler and sky screamer. Their firework is one of the best you can see this July 4.

 

Schertz jubilee 

Join their Independence day celebrations in the city of Schertz that includes a freedom run in the morning, parade, carnival, food, family activities, and eventually, the grand firework that starts at nine in the evening. 

 

Leon valley

The celebrations start with a morning ‘five thousand meters’ run and then the annual Leon valley parade. It features several fun activities and comes to an end at nine in the evening with a truly spectacular firework. 

 

Boerne fireworks show

The independence day celebrations in Boerne is free to enter and a great time for you to have fun with the family. Fireworks start at 9.15 PM. It’s advised to bring your own food as the event may not have a lot of food ventures. 

 

Also, you can witness fireworks at few more places around San Antonio including the founder’s fireworks at the city of New Braunfels and Helotes independence day celebrations that start at 6 in the evening.
