COVID-19 Makes A Comeback In Colorado

More than 557,000 people in Colorado have tested positive for COVID-19 and over 31,000 are hospitalized as of Sunday, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment said.

According to the most recent hospital data, 327 beds are in use by confirmed or suspected COVID-19 patients, which is nine more than on Friday. The seven-day average positivity rate in Colorado is 2.55 percent. The state’s goal is to keep the unemployment rate below 5%.

As we begin the month of July, hospitalizations for suspected or confirmed COVID-19 cases remained above 300, a figure that hasn’t dropped since the beginning of October last year.

The most recent hospital data states that 318 beds are in use by confirmed or suspected COVID-19 patients, up three from Thursday. The seven-day average positivity rate in Colorado is 2.56 percent. The state’s goal is to keep the unemployment rate below 5%.

As of Friday, 3,240,982 people had received at least one dose of the vaccine, with 2,957,758 people having received the entire dose.
