Galveston Shop Offers $5,000 in Reward after the Attack on Grandmother at Kroger

A $5,000 prize is being offered by a Galveston shop for any information about an awful attack on a grandmother and her grandchildren at a local Kroger shop.

What took place at the crime scene?

The 72-year-old mother claimed she was ambushed by two armed men as she and her grandchildren were leaving the store on Monday. Her 15-year-old granddaughter was able to get inside the car, but she and her 21-year-old grandson were detained at gunpoint, she reported.

One of the suspects allegedly threatened to “blow his brains out” to the woman’s grandchild.

The accused then assaulted the elderly widow and her grandson, stealing her jewels. The mother claimed she didn’t aware she was bleeding and that her main concern was for her grandchildren. The 72-year-old grandma required 12 stitches as a result of the incident. She sends a warning so that people can take measures.

$5,000.00 REWARD

The Bin Store, a discount store in the Galvez Shopping Center, has now increased its price to $2,500 to help find the perpetrators.

“I challenge any [and] all Galveston County residents and business owners to [private message] me and pledge any amount that they can in hopes that this case will be solved quickly and all perpetrators arrested and dealt with accordingly.”

A short description of the suspects was issued by the police. Both had face tattoos, and one was observed wearing full black attire, according to them.

They fled in a white automobile, possibly a Honda, according to investigators. Anyone with information should contact Galveston Crime Stoppers or the Police Department of Galveston.
